As a Family Church, We want you to feel connected at International Victory Charimatic Church! That happens as you get to know the people and the staff at the church but, beyond that, it happens as you find your place to serve the Lord and make a difference in the lives of others. We have many ministries in the church that exist to serve those who attend our church, but they also provide ways in which you can be a part of serving others. MUSIC MINISTRY
VICTORY SINGERS
Led by Pastor Prosper Gasu and assisted by Minister Yvonne Bell, the INTERNATIONAL VICTORY CHARISMATIC CHURCH SINGERS are a very unique and dynamic group.The role music plays in developing and growing our ministry cannot be overstated.
The worship experience is not only about hearing a message from a minister or learning a new interpretation of Scripture; a complete and fulfilling worship experience involves community-building, bonding and creating atmosphere through physical vibration as only music can. We share the gospel of Jesus Christ through song, encourage believers in their walk with Christ, lead the congregation in worship and provide an avenue through which individuals may share their gift and be an integral part of the worship.
YOUTH DANCE AND CHOIR
IVCC Youth Dance and Choir teams are made up of talented and creative young men and ladies. Ever willing to use their gifts from God, the teens showcase various song/dance ministrations at church events as well as within the community. As they remain faithful in the "little" they have been given, IVCC Youth Dance and Choir surely shines brighter and brighter unto the perfect day.
EDUCATIONAL MINISTRY
ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL
The great value of Adult Sunday School is to promote the Bible; teaching Biblical Truths while discussing with other members of the class. Bridging the Bible to our daily lives as adults, it energizes more reading and more knowledge by contributing to facts of the Bible in class.
Our Class, headed by Mrs. Viola Brodie- Mends, helps in the development of leadership as it gives opportunity to all members to explain the Word of God not only to themselves but to others in their own understanding. This is a period where every member can express their views in their own words and its respected and acknowledged. Adult Sunday school is a very important part of our church with lessons being taught to a group of members from the Head Pastor to the very young adults and everyone in between. Our class gets us closer to the Christ of our Bibles. Come on....sit in a class, and say "Yes, we serve a living God."
YOUTH MINISTRY
IVCC Youth is a group of vibrant, energetic, and curious young men and women. They have been challenged to help those less fortunate by donating toys and their time to assist the "Toys 4 Tots" foundations. They collaborated with other teens from churches in the community to host the Amazing Christian Race. Teen raised funds, invited friends, then came together to race across town as they solved problems to emulate their Christian walk.
This past summer, two groups of teens attended camps in Florida and Tulsa, OK to fuel the desire and love for God. All participants came back home filled with the Holy Ghost, and stirred in their spirits to live better lives and serve God more. They continue to feed their appetites for God every week through studies and time of fellowship with each other. Join us!
CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
Proverbs 22:6, "Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it". The IVCC Children Ministry is founded strictly on the word of God. This is done in a fun way by a very dynamic group led my Mrs. Janet Gasu. With 4 dedicated teachers, a yearly schedule and fruitful syllabus based by the word of God, we are extremely proud to say our children are growing week by week in the Lord.
Our Classes are divided in two very special groups, THE PRECIOUS JEWELS , which are from ages 3-5 and THE ROYAL PRIESTHOOD whose ranges are from ages 6-11. Come, come, come and see what the Lord is doing, we are the chosen generation !!! We cant wait for Sundays...
GROUP MINISTRY
MENS FELLOWSHIP
International Victory Charismatic Church Men's Fellowship is a group of Men, ranging from all ages whose main purpose is helping to organize ministries and events that facilitate the spiritual growth and relationships of the men at our church. We meet periodically at the church to help keep our church building and grounds looking great, by being available to the Call and enhancement of the growth of the Church.
WOMENS FELLOWSHIP
International Victory Charismatic Church Women's Fellowship is a group of sisters, mothers and grandmothers helping to organize ministries and events that facilitate the spiritual growth and relationships of the women at our church. They are led by the Mother and First Lady of the Church, Mrs. Alexis Johnson, coordinating the Missions endeavors at the church. They stand together in praying for the Pastoral board, Men and Children of the church. They also take care of the food services required for the church during church programs.
SERVICE MINISTRY
PROTOCOL AND USHERING DEPARTMENT
A very lively team consisting of both Men and women of IVCC, motivated at greeting people as they arrive at church and helping them to find seats and accommodate the needs of our guests.
Protocol Officers work with visitors who are guests of the Senior Pastor and are worshipping /visiting on their invitation to do so. These guests may be pastors, church leaders, government officials or friends of the pastor. Depending on who the visitors are and where they are from, the role of the Protocol Officer differs
WELFARE
The Welfare ministry of International Victory Charismatic Church,we aim at determining the assistance that the church can give to people in an emergency situation.The well being of our church members as well as our community is our goal. We serve to counseling and to direct those going through difficult financial times and help in every way we can. We also provide food/meals for our church events.
PRAYERS AND INTERCESSIONS
Popularly know as the " Prayer Warriors", we are soldiers in the Lords army. We are committed in praying for the Glory of the Lord upon the Earth, our Church, our neighborhoods, family and friends. We pray for the emergency and special needs that arise in our church, and as true Warriors we stand as the first line of defense against any spiritual welfare against our church. No force that rises against us will stand, for we have been given the authority form above, to have dominion over everything on this earth, so a thousand can rise, ten thousand can come, the red sea before us and in the lions den we will lift our eyes upon the Hills,"Our help is in the name of the LORD, Who made heaven and earth" Psalm 121:2. "Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.' And Elisha prayed, 'Open his eyes, LORD, so that he may see.' Then the LORD opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha". 2 kings 6.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
Headed by Mrs. Jackie Lartey, the announcement group is responsible of drawing programs for the church, brief the congregation about any current news in the church such as, Baby showers, Deaths, Anniversaries, Weddings among many others. Not only do we give announcement but are sometimes the voice of Our Head Pastor and his associates. Come join us..We are growing fast.
